My update....

Hello everyone! I had my surgery on April 12, 2007 with Dr. P. in Davenport, Florida. I wanted to update on my progress and how I am now going through the euphoria of losing this weight and many of the issues that goes along with the pounds. One year after having twins I found myself to be the Biggest that I have ever been in my life. Having a prior back fusion and laminectomy, my back hurt me so bad I could barely get around anymore. I found myself having difficulty in doing everyday tasks and caring for my kids... After having the surgery, I report today 1.5 months post op, I am down 34lbs and 7 inches off my waistline. I feel like I am just melting. My energy level is getting better everyday, Im crawling around on the floor with my kids. My pack pain is still there but its not so severe that I cant do anything like before. My knee pain is completely gone, THANK GOD!
Its a wonderful feeling not obsessing over food. I can eat a few bites and be full, that amazes me still, considering the amount of food I was consuming before my surgery. It was the best choice I could have made for my health and happiness, I am so glad that I decided to do it. Everyday is a better, healthier day.

Hi Stacy,

Congulations on all the good changes! I know exactly what you are going through!

I had my surgery on April 14th with Dr. Preaglie. I feel FANTASTIC!!!! I just got on the scale Saturday for the first time in 3 weeks and am down 29lbs. I have dropped 1 1/2 sizes and have packed up half of my clothes.

I am learning how much I can eat and not feel stuffed, and can basiclly eat anything. Except YOGURT! I have tried and tried but just can't get the stuff down.

I met you at the MGB seminar a week before your surgery. I'm so glade we both choose to go through it.

Continue on with the good work and I hope your back pain becomes less with time.

Way to go Stacy!!! I'm scheduled with Dr. P on 7/5. I met him in February when my daughter in law had MGB. He is wonderful! I am so pleased to see your great results and I'm so happy for you. Yeah!
