Amy, welcome to our side. All I could think of during the next days after surgery is everyone telling me they felt "What the hell did I do to myself?" and that made it easier for me to understand that this will pass for sure. When I was researching…
HI Amy I was very tired also, I slept a lot for 3 days then really took it easy for 2 weeks..I was also very weak. tried to go to the grocery store with hubby but could only stand at the end of the isle while he ran around the store and got some stu…
I remember telling Dr. P "I don't feel well at all and on top of that I feel like a freak since everyone else had such an easy time" He just kinda laughed at me, then reminded me that I did just have a MAJOR surgery. I spent those first days really…
Thanks Sonya. Believe me I have been wondering if it was worth it. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who had a bad start. I usually bounce back quickly from everything so it was frustrating. Dr R thought I needed the patch so I wore it for a day…
(((Amy))) I hope your doing better by the time you read this. I am very sorry. I had a terrible first few days also. Very frustrating when everyone else was saying they were off running a few hours after waking up from surgery. Just try to stay as h…
Hi. I've had a rough couple of days. Nausea and dry heaves night after the surgery, really miserable. I felt so awful the next day so didn't walk as much as I should have. I felt very weak. Hadn't had much sleep for several days before the surgery s…
Amy I'm so sorry that you still aren't feeling well. Have you followed up with Dr. R at all? I know we have privately discussed that. I saw a response of yours on the Yahoo forum that looked like someone from CLOS had added onto before it was posted, about him being able to help you. Are there any times when it seems to calm down or feel better at all? I have read a few peoples responses over the course of my time on the various boards, that talk about how they were sick a lot during the first 2 or 3 months, but that it did eventually go away and in the big picture they were still glad they had the MGB. That know that's not particularly comforting right now when you feel like crap!! I just hope it gets better really soon so you can enjoy some of the process. Write or call me when you can. Lila
Amy! Im so glad to have you message me..and no-this is the Dr that created it. He was asked to get it in the public hands (cancer prevention etc..) but declined because of fear what the pharms would do..(price high-sell watered version etc.)
. If you email me your number I will call you and tell you about it and where you can get it!
You can text my cell 816-215-9306!
