I had my MGB here in Texas on November 30, 2005 with Dr. Peraglie. I weighed 298 at my highest and now I sit at 189 and have maintained that weight for three yrs now. I still have 30 lbs. to lose but feel I will get there eventually. Better to lose it slowly than not at all as you will have a better chance of keeping it off completely.
Hi my name is Kelsha Wisniewski,
I am a 25 year old that is 270 lbs and ready to have the MGB! I have struggled with weight my whole life...loose ten, gain 20...You know the game. I am almost done with my packet, however I am in need of a few more contacts! If you could help me out, it would be really appreciated!
Hi Char,
I am just getting started with the mini gastric bypass process and was looking for a few people to contact that knows a thing or two about it. I am 35 years old and live in Seattle Washington. I haven't scheduled my date yet but should be doing it soon. I have a few questions and curiousities so if you are up for it I would love to talk.
Thanks
Doreen
Hi Char,
I'm scheduled for MGB surgery in May and needing a few more contacts.
I've been on the MGB website I've been trying to find people who have been out a couple of years and I'm so happy that you had a successful experience. I also liked what you wrote about losing the last few pounds slowly which seems very reasonable to me, its a much healthier way of thinking about those numbers rather that getting obcessed. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could be one of my contacts and send me your letter. My email address is travelb@bellsouth.net. There are so many kind people on this board and I've found it reassurring that been know what it like to be where I am. I wish I could have this sugery tomorrow!
Char, Congradulations on your success! I'm in the application process and wanted to know if you could send me your contact letter.
Thank you

Hi Char- I was looking at your photos, I am so amazed at your transformation! I hope you don't get tired of hearing how beautiful you are, 'cause you are! You were back when to but the change is very dramatic. My husband gets on this site and says all the time how you can seldom recognize people after their surgery, that is very true for you. Good luck and keep in touch! Karla
Thanks, Char. I appreciate the contact. What a beautiful woman you are! Hope I can be half as pretty!! You look so great. I am counting on getting down the pounds and finding the 'real' person...still the same inside but I know I will be much happier after the MGB in Apr. dusty
