Elbee, havee you tried chicken and stars soup? It tasted really good to me...but I drank mostly the broth at first. The saltine crackers really help. Are you doing yogurt yet? I find that I cannot eat cheese or milk products. Ice cream gives me terr…
So happy for you, Chris. I am currently at a standstill with my weight loss. I can't get into onederland. So I am stopping the worrying. It will come when it will come. This really is a most 'effortless journey" isn't it? I can't give up my sips of…

yes, i made it!!!
i am still in the hotel, until wednesday....
i am mostly doing well, struggling to get fluids in but that is normal.
i was experiencing hollow, fluid stomach yesterday until someone asked me"why arent you eating saltines"? yikes, i was only doing fluids and my stomach was just becoming this fluid-filled organ that felt awful.
i feel better today.
i CAN NOT wait for stage 11...i am dying for something solid, like applesauce or mashed pots. did you have head hunger early on?
Hi Dusty
It was great to hear from you. This summer has been too busy to be on the computer, so I've not been on much.
Mark and I are doing great! He's down something like 130 lbs and I am down 86. I went from a size 24 in jeans to a size 14. I just tried on my daughter's size 12's and they fit, but I wouldn't be able to wear them all day - yet.
As far as foods go, I pretty much eat everything, with a strong emphasis on healthy foods. Of course I eat A LOT less than I use to. I still eat watermelon pretty much every day. It's my insurance against dehydration :-)
Hey Dusty, glad you like the new pic. I feel amazing and still cant believe just a lil over 7 months ago my weight was 322 the day of my surgery and I am at 200 now. Its truly amazing. I havent had any back pains since I woke up from surgery which has been a God send for me since prior to the surgery I had constant back pain. I went to my local gym and had the choice of two trainers a man and a woman. I said I basically wanted a drill Sgt. to be my trainer so i went with the man. He is truly an amazing guy! He pushes me hard which I need and it has totally paid off. I have started more weight lifting as of recently. Before I did more cardo to get the weight off now i need to work more on my thighs, and arms to tone the skin up. I daily rub vitamin E cream on my body after the shower which is suppose to help with the elasticity issue. I am sorry I dont know anything about age & flab! hehe Keep up the good work it will come off you will see.
Hi Dusty!
I have my 6 month checkup on July 7th. I'll get the bloodwork done then. I'm down 100 lbs. !! Be patient, it'll all come off. Sounds like you are right on track. : )
We have posted the announcement with details both on the Yahoo boards and on MGBhelp.com. I was not involved in the planning last year because it was funded and organized by CLOS. This year MGB Friends is in charge and planned using suggestions from last year's attendees we hope to have a more relaxed weekend with more socializing opportunities. Can't wait to see everyone!
