Well... here we go!
Well, today I'm getting ready to leave for Las Vegas for a week of surgery & good times with the fam! Haha...
I'm not gonna lie... I'm feeling a little nervous. I have a tiny, baby cold at the moment (just a bit of a runny nose in the am) so I'm worried that my surgery could be canceled b/c of that. If all goes to plan, this will also be the first surgery I've ever had... so I think it's the unknown that I'm more worried about than anything. Taking Charge of My Life!
Hey Guys!
Excited to be here w/ you all! I'm 25 yrs old and pushing 300lbs... and done with it. Have made the decision to go for the MGB (along w/ my mom, Dee) and take charge of my life and my future! It's really exciting. I've been dealing with PCOS and other weight-related issues for years now and I'm still very young... I feel so strongly that now is the time for me to make the changes in my life cause the best is yet to come!!

- Hi Cindy. I had my surgery with Dr. P on 10/01/09, and today 10/11/09, I am feeling so much better!!! I HAVE TO PUT MY SCALE AWAY, because I am on it all the time....a definite NO NO!!! BUT, I lost 9 pounds since surgery. And I am never hungry, except one morning when I woke up I felt hungry, and that is acceptable. I eat yogurt, crackers, pretzels, yogurt, soups, yogurt....Love, Sheba

- You go girl! How was yoru surgery? How much did he bypass? How are you feeling? If you are like me, you will feel ick until about Sunday/Monday. You will be sooooo thrilled in one week!

- Hi Cindy. I had the MGB last December in Orlando with Dr. P, shortly after I turned 26. My mom had the MGB in 2003 with Dr. R and my younger brother had the surgery in 2007 with Dr. P. I'd be happy to answer any questions-I don't have a contact letter made because I want to wait until atleast a year out.
