I really appreciate all the support i always feel! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone this week

Thanks for all the great comments from everyone one yesterday, I think one of the best parts of getting this surgery is all the support we all give to one another and i feel that i truely care about each of you and i feel the same coming back from all of you, so thanks so much and i hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving this week!

My Dilemma

My Dilemma, I have two scales, one i have had for years and the other i bought about a year ago. The new one has always had me 5 pounds heavier than the old one, so guess which one i always use! This week the new one shows me losing 5.5 pounds or now a total of 51 pounds and my old reliable one still has me stuck at 249 only down 47lbs. Which one to believe?!?!?!

35 days after surgery

I am down 45.5 pounds and for the third time, i have stopped losing weight for a couple of days. So i am sure in the next couple of days it will start to fall off again. I lost 30 then it stopped for 4 days, then dropped off until i had lost 40 then it stopped for several days and i even gained a pound and a half, and now at 45 down, again i gained a pound and a half and now have lost that, so it has been 4 days, so i am sure any day now it will be going down again! At least i sure hope so!

OK I just talked to Sandy Brubaker and.......

I asked Sandy if i need to be getting blood work done on 1,3,6 months and one year. She said no, only one year, for the MGB'ers that have had diabetes, or other issues they may have to see their doctors and have blood work, but for the rest of us, we must fill out the on line report each month and then do the blood work at one year. So this is straight from the horses mouth, sorry Sandy just a figure of speech!

Ha ha, well I promise I'm not trying to leave you in my dust. :-) I haven't even been excersizing much at all. Just living my life and eating what works for me, and it's just kind of been happening on it's own. I'm sure loving it! But supposedly you and I both have lost faster at this point than a lot of MGB people do. I think it's pretty impressive that you have lost 57 allready when you had a bit less to lose than I did. It seems like the heavier you are the more you lose right in the beginning usually. But sounds like you are doing great!

Hi! Good to hear from you! My dad is doing pretty darn good...His diabetes is gone..I don't think he is off his CPAP machine yet...He's had more problems with throwing up than me and my brother, but we kind of expected that. He is used to eating a Lot, and fast...He is on the road all the time for work also, so he has problems with AO more than us.

I haven't heard from Shannon in a long time, and have been wondering how she is doing. let me know if you get an update.

So glad with your succes!
