SWO Meet Up and my Update

We were a very small group this time, and I was ridiculously late and foolish - going to the wrong location, duh! But...it was wonderful to catch up. Onederland

I was really trying to have a picture of the scale so I could show you but I can't find my camera. I even painted happy faces on my toe nails!

I am weighing in at 197.5! That's 65.5 pounds gone since August 29th! I am wearing a size 16 pants and 14 tops. How cool is that?!

MGB Retreat

Hi all - sorry I've been so quiet (read busy and distracted) lately. I really must post to tell you how wonderful the MGB Retreat experience was last week.

I traveled with the lovely Mary Grierson - quite a risk taker coming away with me for a week. We had only met live twice and both times we really did not spend much time together. Good Bye 2008 and Fat Ellen

I have done my last official weigh-in for this year - I'm heading off to my cottage for New Year's Eve and there's no scale up there! I'm pleased with the results.

I started the process at 276 - surgery I was 263 and today I weigh 208.5! Isn't that wonderful - I'll be in Onederland by Valentines Day, I predict.

My best wishes to everyone for a wonderful New Years Eve and peaceful, happy, prosperous and healthy 2009!

6. Did you have your surgery in Nevada or Florida, and what did you think of the Dr.?
7. How would you rate the level of care that you received at the hospital?
8. How would you rate the responsiveness of the Clinic regarding pre-op questions/concerns?
9. Would you recommend this surgery to your friends or family members?
10. What is the one most important bit of advice that you would like to pass on to anyone that is getting ready to have the MGB?
