Linda,
You look great. Any complications? I sent in my "on line application" and got confirmaion and ordered the packet from Las Vegas. I'm reading my manual and hopefully things will move along.
Will you join my friends?

Hi Linda,
I am just getting started and would love to have you as a contact. I have a few questions about your experience and of course all the usual questions that are needed for the packet. Hope to be able to chat!
Thanks
Doreen

I guess I never looked at it like that. Yea, I thought caffeine was a big deal too because they say no coffee either. But it makes sence about how you said it, not alot of room for alot of bubbles. Ouch. I suppose everyone is different but I'm just not gonna risk it. Why be uncomfortable? I just like my diet A & W root beers every now and then.

Hi Linda,
I love your pics!
You look so young too!
Can you tell me why before someone has surgery, carbonation is no big deal but after, its like the biggest no-no there is?

Linda you weighed the same as me when I got my MGB four months ago. except I got a 6 ft bypass. I'm 5ft 5". Now I feel a little concerned that I will be a 100lbs when done. Not pretty!

Hey Linda!
Just thought I'd let you know that I'm flying out tomorrow fto Vegas! My surgery is on Wednesday and I can't wait! I just wanted to thank you for helping me through-out my packet process and let you know that I will stay in contact with you post-op. Thanks again !!

No, I no longer have to take tiny sips. I just finished a 10 oz bottle of drink in about 10-15 minutes as I was cruising my emails and could have finished it faster if I wanted. As long as I am not eating, I can drink with no problem. I still drink very little when I eat. I don't want to take up tummy room with liquid instead of food at mealtimes. I still eat very little bread, no pasta or rice. They didn't sit very well at the beginning and I decided that since they offer very little nutrition and make my tummy feel overfull, I just wouldn't eat them. I figure the carbs aren't what I need anyway. I save my tummy room for proteins and a few veggies. I can eat between 1/2 to 3/4 of a burger patty with some lettace and tomato at one sitting, but it takes me about 20-30 minutes to do that comfortably. I had some carbonation early on, by accident, and it was so uncomfortable I haven't had any desire to try that again. Someone told me I should try a Powerade slushy from Sonic. I didn't know it had sprite or something like that in it and I felt so painfully bloated from the carbonation...Not Good!!!
