Thank you Dr R. I am doing great. My surgery was last Thursday 10-1. You made my husband and I feel welcome and safe. My husband was still not quite sure when we left for Vegas. He was willing to support me but was still scared. After meeting you and going though the clinic on Tuesday he had a lot of postive things to say. He was really impressed. I can already see a difference in my body. I can't believe how good I feel. My boss was blown away that I was moving so quickly and was all smiles. He was a geared up for me to be slow and sore and not feeling to well. At his old store he had a lady the had RNY and she wasn't the same for months. So that is what he expected from me. Anyway thank you I can't say that enough.

Hi Dr R,

I have heard so many wonderful things about you.A very dear friend of mine came to visit you around Easter for a one year post op check.He is so thrilled with the results. That he recommended you to me. I am working hard on my packet I am 49 years old and weigh about 245 I have no cardiac or other serious medical problems other than swelling in my legs from the weight and standing on my feet all day, I also have joint pain and insomnia and I was wondering if I could have the surgery if I had a small hernia repair through my belly button that was done in 1998 it was a result of mowing the lawn and had been there all along undected at birth. I have also had vein stripping in both of my legs and a hysterectomy. I was wondering since I am only 245 at this point, could have the MGB offtered at the lower cost of 9,000. If not does the total cost of the procedure normally done for over 30 cost $20,000 and does insurance pay for it. I know that this is more than one question. looking forward to seeing and hearing from you soon.
