You'll get it done. I didn't do it overnight, either. I took my time, and did everything the best I could, and was very happy with the results. I know it seems like sooooo much, and it really is. If that is all that is standing in your way, what I would do is work on your packet a little bit at a time. You can take as long as you like to get it ready. Just do your tests last. If you need any help or advice just ask and pretty much everyone here would be glad to help!!! If you aren't sure if you want to have the surgery, then that is ok too. It is a BIG step. I am happy I did it, but you need to be in the right head space in your life to make this kind of decission. It isn't without it's risks. For me the benefits far outweigh the risks and honestly everything has been pretty darn good for me! I am happier than I ahve ever been in my life, I am a better mother, wife, friend, sister, daughter, employee and in general I just think I am a better person for having done this. Again, when the time is right and you are ready, the MGB will be here for you and so will the wonderful people here on the site. Good luck in everything sweetie! School, work and in your future decissions, whatever they may be.

If I can help in anyway with your packet let me know. You can do this and be glad you did. It seems a bit over whelming but in the long run you will be glad you did it and that you are so informed about the MGB surgery. Let me know if you need anything.

About Me:: Hi my name is wendy and im 27yrs old im a single mom of an 8yr old daughter. I am a medical assistant and also a nursing student. I am struggling with my weight after i had the lap band surgery in july of 2007. I am very upset that after going through my first and only surgery i had in my life i havent gotten the results i wanted. Im very dissapointed but after finding out about this surgery i have hope that one day i can reach my goal.
