I can't tell you how fabulous you look! Kudos to you for making such a life change. You seem so happy! How are things going for you now that you are so much further out from the MGB? How do you feel and what can you eat now? What is your daily regimen like? Have you been complication free?
Congratulations! You look absolutely Beautiful! Ive never met anyone close to my age that has had it untill I saw your page. Now I know theres someone out there! Well I was just stopping by to say hi and wish you the best !
Hi Jenna,
I just checked your site to see how you're doing...you look beautiful - and those pants are NOT tight! I'm so proud of you!
And - I'm jealous because I always wanted a horse. Yours is a beauty. I told my husband that now that I'm thin, I want to go horseback riding. Can't wait.
Hi Jenna! It is so nice to see your profile! You are such a beautiful girl! Congrats on all that you have accomplished. I rode english when I was a teen and would love to take riding up again. I haven't done it in about 20 years. (20 years ago is when my weight issues really started, so no more spandex!) My best to you for all of your future accomplishments!
I am so excited for you, Jenna! You have achieved so many goals! You look fantastic in your English riding wear! You look very elegant! Thanks for the update!
Hi Jenna. You might remember me. I contacted you weeks ago, and am using you as one of my contacts in my packet/application for the MGB. Your story really inspired me. I'm still working on my packet. I think it'll probably be June or so before I can have the surgery. I'm feeling nervous about it lately - just thoughts like what if something goes wrong, what if I die, etc. Did you feel those things at all? Also, I was wondering something else ... have you missed food? What I mean by that is ... I have this unhealthy relationship with food - I love sweets, eat when I don't really need to, think about the next meal, etc. If you were like that too, have you missed those things? Would love to keep in touch. Thanks! -Holly Johnson in Henderson, NV (205 lbs., 5'7", age 38 - hoping for outpatient MGB)
Thanks for the infor. You are a very beautiful young girl. I have a daughter that just turned 20 on Sunday she weights 250 and having complications becuas she gained weight really fast in her prgnancy. She used to be 180 hopefully i can get her to lose wieght on her own
Thanks, Jenna, for being my contact. I looking forward to my face changing, too. No more puffiness or triple chin! I saw your shopping picture, too. WOW! You truly are an inspiration. If I ever get into a dress like that, I'm making my husband take me somewhere! Thanks again for everything.
Hi Jenna. Thank you for sharing your story and pictures. You are beautiful. I'm working on my packet ... would you please be a contact for me? I live in Henderson, NV. I'm 38, 5'7", 200 lbs. (highest was 214 lbs.), and so anxious to have this done. I have questions for you! My e-mail is jhjohnson@cox.net. Thank you! -Holly Johnson
I am a 22 year-old recent college grad. I had the MGB in Las Vegas on 6-5-07. It was a really scary decision, but now i couldn't be more thrilled. My surgery lasted 40 minutes and I had 5 feet bypassed. I am now a year and a half out and have gone from 229 to 145 pounds. My MGB experience has been wonderful. Write me if you have any questions or need a contact.

one of my goals is to learn to ride english. i couldn't learn before surgery for several reasons... 1. i wouldn't be caught dead in spandex pants. 2. its a little more elegant when you are not so big. 3. I need to buy an english saddle and i don't want to buy a big one now and a smaller one in 6 months.
i am waiting for the weight to come off so i can start my english riding lessons.
THAT WAS LAST YEAR... I am now riding english - tight pants and all!
I am now 7 months post-op and everything is great. I have gone from 229 to 150... thats 79 pounds!!! I am loving shopping so much and I love that I can wear everything that I had wanted to before. The change has been really exciting - I had no idea how different i would look - my face especially. I was looking at pictures of myself from pre-op and looking at the way my face had changed, all i could think was that i had no idea how big I was. I was telling this to my brother and his response was… Continue

I am now 4 months post-op and have gone from 229 to 175! (my heaviest was 246.) I have been feeling great. I am so happy that I had the surgery. I thought I would miss the extra food - I don't. A friend actually asked if I was anorexic the other day because I only eat half (or less) of my food when we go out. I was shocked at the question, but also feel like I cannot tell anyone about my surgery. My roommate figured it out by watching my eating habits and my shrinking waistline, but I didn't min… Continue
