It has been almost 2 years since my MGB. I don't know where the time has gone! I have changed in almost every way these past two years.
I now weigh between 190-200 pounds depending on the day. So I have lost between 122-132 pounds since my journey began. I am generally healthy, and have had no major problems due to surgery. I do not exercise regularly, and do not always eat right, so when I feel crappy I have no one to blame but myself. But my MGB still does it's job, and I maintain a pretty goo… Continue

Well, I weigh 237 pounds now. That means I have lost exactly 85 pounds in 6 months. I can barely believe I have changed as much as I have. Is it just me, or do many MGB'rs go through this stage where we are in a disbelief over all the physical changes? It is almost like an out-of-body experience--- out of my OLD body perhaps??? I am down to 244 pounds today.... what a difference from the 322 I started at! I am feeling pretty good. There really isn't any food I can't eat. I just know when enough is enough. I can listen to my body's signals now, and let those tell me when to be done. If I relied on my brain, it would still mislead me- as it still tells me to keep right on eating because the food still looks good.
