Today is the 6th month since my surgery. I lost 11.7 lbs. this month, bringing my total loss to 96.2 lbs.. I was hoping to possbly make the 100 pounds lost mark, but I am so happy with what I've lost so far, it doesn't really matter. I know it will only be a matter of time until I make that goal. Yeah! Life is good...Actually, it is so much better!

The 29th of July I will be 4 months post-op. My littermate, Christine, and I made a promise to eachother on the 19th, not to weigh ourselves until our 4 month anniversary, 10 days later. There were a couple of conversations on the MGB board recently about weight loss or being stuck and about our skin. It took me just a little longer than the 3 months to make my 60 lb. goal. I weighed this morning, and I had lost 60 lbs, exactly. I'm still feeling good...No problems.
Happy Independance Day to everyone, and God bless our troops.

I had my surgery on March 29, 2007. So far I've lost 54 pounds, in about 2 1/2 months. I really can't complain...I know I've had my bumps in the road, but I've read about others who've had much more difficulty than I. The one area that I have really struggled is with my hormones / estrogen levels. I am the poster child for the estrogen patch. The patch is my friend...And my husbands and childrens friend, as well. I was thinking about getting a tatoo on my arm that says, "CLIMARA", with a big
