Mini-Gastric Bypass

Las Vegas, Nevada & Orlando Florida, Get The Mini-Gastric Bypass for Life!!

I hit onederland a few months back and I believe I totally forgot to post it. Can't be sure because have posted I just can't remember. Anyway, surgery day was January 28th, 2008 and I weighed 232 and as of a week ago I was down to 188!!!! I'm so pleased I had this surgery that I cannot recommend it enough.

These past two months I did have to start taking my high blood pressure pills again but only a 1/2 a pill instead of two different pills per day. But the good news is... I'M OFF OF THEM AGAIN!!! My blood pressure is GREAT and hopefully I'm off these meds for good. I'm not having any trouble with my diabetes at all and not on any medications. I am still have a lot of trouble with water retention and still taking 80mg of lasix. Did need any until I started back on stage 3 foods so it must be something in the foods. LOL

Now for the bad news... I'M LOSING MY HAIR!!! I've lost about 1/2 of it already. Literally about half. Sucks but I'll live and it will grow back. I'm thinking next week I might go cut it off short and start over. My hair is down to the middle of my back. I read an interesting article on line about fat women having beautiful hair FROM ALL THE NUTRIENTS THEY TAKE IN. So it only makes sense that we have hair loss FROM ALL THE NUTRIENTS WE ARE NOT TAKING IN.

The intestinal gas problems have nearly stopped because I started eating 3 yogurts per day instead of one. Yogurt is a dream drug for our digestive tracts. I mentioned in a previous blog that I make my own yogurt now and absolutely love it. It's not the syrup crap you buy at the stores and I add fresh fruit and a teaspoon of sugar and it's wonderful. A bit of sweet with a bit of tart in the flavor.

Haven't really started exercising yet but I suppose I should. I do a fair share of horse ranch work which consists of a lot of walking around... so I guess that counts for something. But I need to set up all this wonderful workout equipment I have stored in my garage and get this butt on it and move!!!

Two weeks ago I took a dive off my horse and hurt my back pretty bad... or so I thought from all the pain... THANK GOD IT WAS A SPRAIN and is now getting better. Needless to say I have not been able to ride my horse but instead have started training her from the ground up again because I have NO intentions of ever letter her get away with leaving me in the dirt again!!! Her training is going very well and I'm getting a little more moving around in my daily schedule.

My asthma is still 90% better than pre-op!!! I'm really loving this. My asthma machine sits there not being used and I very rarely use any of my inhalers anymore. Pre-op I had to use the machine on a daily basis and my inhalers about 10 time a day and nothing really worked. Breathing just fine now.

I am glad things are getting better for you now..I was worried for you in that last post..
