I was in the hospital having brain surgery for this anniversary update :) While I was there they also discovered, from the major pain I had in my back one night, that I actually fractured my spine at the L2 when my horse knocked me down, so now I'm in a body brace for 6 to 8 weeks. Oh.... and I'm selling my, too young, horse and getting an older slower horse in January. Although without my horse knocking me in the head with her head they would have NEVER discovered I had anything wrong with my brain and I would have just hemoraged one day and died. Well I certainly did not have weight loss surgery to get healthy to die so brain surgery was NOT an option it was an absolute.

Weight loss progress: 181 now from 232 pre-op

1 month - 17
2 month - 8
3 month - 8
4 month - 5
5 month - 6
6 month - 7

Shaved my already falling out hair after my brain surgery and bought a great wig yesterday. Stilll can't keep my thoughts or happenings straight in my mind but that's probably due to the pain killers they have me on for the time being.

Karen, you sure have had a rough time of it. But it seems like the MGB part of your life is certainly a positive in your life. Congrats on the weight loss.
