Packet Panic

Ok, so I've been feeling really on top of this packet thing. All I have left to do is have my hubby's letter notarized - SOON - and have my pictures taken. Seeing that I usually hide behind anyone I can, or insist that pictures are taken from the neck up, this will be an interesting experience - me in a bathing suit, for posterity? I know, I know, it's so I'll look back on it over the months and realize how far I've come.

My packet is due on the 28th - so I really should FedExing it SOON. My brother just informed me that he isn't a Notary Public (I guess Mom was wrong - or my memory is!!). So tomorrow I'll run around to the Post Office, bank, or a lawyer to get the blessed thing signed - oh, and of course, I'll have to wait until my hubby's home, because it's his signature! Aaargh - dropped the ball there!!

I requested a notebook a few weeks ago, and it was sent but hasn't arrived yet. I hope that I will be able to pull this together without it, unless it's in the mail tomorrow!! OK, time to stop panicking, I'll be fine. Just about everyone goes through this, I bet!!

Ok, onwards and upwards. I'll let you know tomorrow how it's going - hopefully calmer!!!

Hey Cathy... first off.... take a deeeeeep breath. Now do it again....... and once more...... feel better?

Don't worry darlin it will all come together. I know when i sent my stuff to Flo, she said she'd rather have a complete packet than one that needed extra stuff faxed, even if it took a day of two extra to get it. I am sure it won't be a huge problem if it is a bit late, if you inform them why and when you expect they will receive it.

I wasn't going to do the bathing suit thing come hell or high water. So I didn't. I just added some posts that clearly show what my body composition is front and side and although I still wasn't very comfortable about doing it that way, it showed what they needed and I felt more comfortable. So, about the notary public thingy..... in Ontario (at least in Orangeville) you can't get a document notarized at a bank. We had the lawyer who did our house stuff when we sold last year notarize it for us and it cost $20. No biggie. It took 5 minutes. If you know someone who is an engineer they may be able to notarize it for you, they of course will know if they can or can't. Just ask. Just make sure your hubby DOES NOT sign it until he is infront of the notary public, ok? They have to witness it being signed. In my husband's nervouseness he signed it prematurely and we had to print another copy of it off. ;)
